Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Inspire creativity and self-expression in a vibrant classroom as a dedicated Art Teacher in Sheffield (S5, S9).

GSL Education are inviting applications from enthusiastic educators to join supportive schools where the Art Teacher will encourage students to explore a range of artistic techniques and develop confidence through creative learning.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the art curriculum.
  • Encourage experimentation with different materials and mediums.
  • Maintain positive behaviour and a focused learning environment.
  • Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school.

Requirements:
The successful Art Teacher should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Previous experience teaching art in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
