Job Title: Design Technology Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are welcoming applications from skilled Design Technology Teachers to join supportive schools across Sheffield (S5, S9). This opportunity allows you to deliver hands-on lessons that develop technical knowledge, innovation, and independent thinking in a well-equipped learning environment.
In this role, the Design Technology (DT) Teacher will guide students through the design process, helping them transform ideas into practical outcomes while building resilience, precision, and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities of Design Technology Teachers:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Design Technology curriculum.
- Support students in using tools, materials, and equipment safely and effectively.
- Promote creativity, critical thinking, and practical application of skills.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.
- Assess progress and provide clear, supportive feedback.
Requirements of Design Technology Teachers:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Design Technology in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Commitment to health and safety procedures within practical lessons.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
