Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day supply

GSL Education are searching for a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support schools across Barnsley, particularly within the S70 and S71 areas, providing tailored guidance to pupils who need extra help in their learning journey.
As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will work closely with teachers to deliver one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils engage confidently in the classroom.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised support as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
- Assist pupils with learning, communication, and emotional needs.
- Support classroom activities and follow individual learning plans.
- Work collaboratively with staff.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children with special educational needs.
- A patient, empathetic, and supportive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
