Job Title: Design Technology Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking to appoint a skilled Design Technology Teacher for a school located in the S11 area of Sheffield.

As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils’ design thinking, technical ability, and problem-solving skills in a well-equipped learning environment.

Main Duties:

  • Plan and deliver design technology lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Promote creativity, safety, and practical skill development.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to wider school learning initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Design Technology Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
