Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Foster a love for language, literature, and confident communication in young learners.

GSL Education are pleased to welcome applications for an inspiring English Teacher to support a school in the S11 area of Sheffield.

As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils’ reading, writing, and analytical skills within a structured and supportive classroom.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver English lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Encourage critical thinking through literature and language study.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to wider school learning initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as an English Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
