Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Shape confident problem-solvers and help students develop a strong foundation in numeracy and logical thinking.
GSL Education are thrilled to recruit a Maths Teacher to support a school in the Sheffield (S11) area, delivering engaging lessons that build understanding and confidence in mathematics.
In this role, the Mathematics Teacher will plan and deliver structured lessons that challenge pupils, encourage analytical thinking, and promote a positive attitude towards learning mathematics.
Core Role Expectations:
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the mathematics curriculum.
- Support pupils in developing problem-solving, reasoning, and numeracy skills.
- Maintain positive behaviour and a focused learning environment.
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school objectives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching mathematics in a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
