Job Title: Supply Teacher – Secondary Schools
Location: Scunthorpe
Pay Rate: £130 – £180 per day
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Short-term / Long-term | Full-time or Part-time
GSL Education is currently seeking confident and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Scunthorpe. This role is ideal for qualified teachers, ECTs, or experienced educators who enjoy flexibility while making a real impact in the classroom.
As a Supply Teacher, you will be stepping into different school environments, delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-set lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Maintain classroom discipline in line with school policies
- Engage students and ensure continuity of learning
- Adapt quickly to different school settings and expectations
- Provide feedback to departments on student progress and behaviour
- Support safeguarding and pastoral procedures
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
