Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Boston
Salary: £90 – £110 per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Term-time | Day-to-day / Long-term
GSL Education is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools in Boston. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping young people succeed both academically and personally.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support students across KS3 and KS4, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in the classroom on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
- Help students stay focused, motivated, and engaged in learning
- Provide additional support to pupils with SEN or behavioural needs
- Support students’ emotional wellbeing and personal development
- Follow school safeguarding, behaviour, and inclusion policies
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience preferred)
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
