Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: 460 - 600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type - Day-to-day supply
Support continuity of learning by confidently managing classrooms during teacher absences.
GSL Education are pleased to appoint a reliable Cover Supervisor for schools across the DN2 and DN6 areas of Doncaster.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will oversee pre-set lessons, maintain classroom order, and ensure pupils remain engaged and on task throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes using prepared lesson plans.
- Maintain a calm, focused, and positive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Support pupils with their work and respond to basic queries.
- Report any issues or concerns to senior staff.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar school-based role.
- Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- A professional approach to safeguarding and school procedures.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
