Job Title: Behaviour Support/Mentor
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Do you have the patience and resilience to support pupils with challenging behaviours?
GSL Education are working with schools in Dinnington (S25) to recruit a dedicated Behaviour Support/Mentor to provide consistent guidance and positive role modelling.
In this role, the Behaviour Support/Mentor will work with pupils to improve engagement, develop social skills, and support emotional regulation in a structured and supportive environment.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with behavioural needs.
- Assist with implementing behaviour strategies and positive reinforcement.
- Work one-to-one or in small groups to support pupils’ social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and pastoral teams to monitor progress.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Behaviour Support/Mentor or in a similar role.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
