Job Title: Behaviour Support/Mentor
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are working with schools in Dinnington (S25) to recruit a dedicated Behaviour Support/Mentor to provide consistent guidance and positive role modelling.

In this role, the Behaviour Support/Mentor will work with pupils to improve engagement, develop social skills, and support emotional regulation in a structured and supportive environment.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with behavioural needs.
  • Assist with implementing behaviour strategies and positive reinforcement.
  • Work one-to-one or in small groups to support pupils’ social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and pastoral teams to monitor progress.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Behaviour Support/Mentor or in a similar role.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
