Job Title: PE Support
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated PE Support professional to join schools in Dinnington (S25). This is a fantastic opportunity to help pupils engage in physical education, build confidence, and enjoy an active, healthy lifestyle.

The Role:

As a Physical Education (PE) Support, you will assist teachers in delivering practical PE lessons, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help maintain a safe and positive environment where all students can participate and thrive.

Key Responsibilities of PE Support:

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging PE lessons.
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils needing extra guidance.
  • Encourage positive participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
  • Support pupils in developing physical skills, confidence, and fitness.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and pastoral teams to meet pupils’ needs.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children in education, sports, or coaching environments.
  • Enthusiastic, patient, and encouraging approach to supporting pupils.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Awareness of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Relevant qualifications in sport, PE, or education (desirable but not essential).
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
