Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are welcoming applications for a committed Art Teacher to nurture imagination, confidence, and artistic skills in pupils. The role is based in schools across the Rotherham area, covering the S65 and S66 postcodes.

In this role, the Art Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons across a variety of artistic techniques and media. You will encourage students to express themselves creatively while developing practical skills and an appreciation for art.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured art lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Encourage creativity, experimentation, and independent thinking.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support wider school objectives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as an Art Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
