Location: Dinnington (S25)
Payrate: £98-£108 Per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are appointing a motivated SEMH TA to deliver consistent support in classrooms and across school environments, with placements available in Dinnington schools serving the S25 community and nearby areas.
As a Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will help pupils manage emotions, build positive relationships, and stay engaged in learning, while working with staff to create a safe, structured, and inclusive environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted support to pupils with SEMH needs.
- Support emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement in learning.
- Work one-to-one or with small groups to meet individual needs.
- Assist teachers in maintaining a calm and supportive classroom environment.
- Contribute to positive behaviour strategies and intervention plans.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as an SEMH TA or in a similar support role.
- A calm, empathetic, and consistent approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
