PSHE Teacher – SEND College
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Contract: Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a committed and resilient PSHE Teacher to work within a specialist SEND college in Lincoln, supporting students with Autism (ASD) and SEMH needs.
This full-time role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about supporting young people to develop the personal, social and emotional skills they need to thrive in education, employment and independent life.
The Role:
As a PSHE Teacher, you will deliver engaging, meaningful and accessible lessons tailored to learners with additional needs. Topics may include:

Emotional wellbeing and mental health

Social communication and relationship skills
-
Citizenship and personal responsibility

Health education and life skills
-
Preparing students for adulthood, independence and work
Teaching will be highly differentiated, relationship-led and trauma-informed, with a strong focus on supporting students’ social and emotional development.
The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification (preferred)

Experience teaching or supporting students with ASD and/or SEMH

Confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm, consistent manner

Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice

A patient, adaptable and empathetic approach to teaching
