Sports Coach
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay: £460 – £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are looking for an energetic Sports Coach to deliver engaging physical education sessions, support extracurricular sports, and motivate pupils to get active and stay involved for schools in Sheffield (S2, S3).
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for assisting PE teachers, leading sports activities, and supporting pupils of all abilities to participate safely and enthusiastically. This role combines practical coaching with mentoring, encouraging positive behaviour, and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Main Responsibilities as a Sports Coach
- Deliver and support PE lessons and sports sessions
- Lead small groups or 1:1 coaching activities
- Encourage participation, teamwork, and fair play
- Help manage equipment and set up for activities
- Motivate pupils and support their physical, social, and emotional development
What We’re Hoping to find in a Sports Coach
- A background in sport, coaching, or youth work
- Experience working with children or young people in schools or clubs
- Energetic, approachable, and confident in leading activities
- Good communication and behaviour management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
