Job Title: Computer Science (CS) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S13)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are hiring an inspiring Computer Science Teacher to deliver engaging and practical computing lessons, with opportunities available across schools serving the S13 community in Sheffield.

As a Computer Science (CS) Teacher, you will deliver lessons that build students’ skills in coding, computational thinking, and digital literacy, while fostering an inclusive classroom where learners feel confident applying technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-prepared computing lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Support students in developing coding, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain a focused and positive classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Computer Science Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
