Art Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

Schools in Sheffield (S35) alongside GSL Education are seeking a motivated Art Teacher to deliver engaging lessons that encourage self-expression, creativity, and artistic skills. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with students of all abilities and helping them develop confidence through visual arts.


Art Teacher Role Overview

You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality Art lessons across key stages. Lessons can cover a range of media including painting, drawing, sculpture, and digital art, tailored to the needs of the students.


Key Duties

  • Plan and teach engaging Art lessons following the curriculum
  • Support students’ development in practical skills and creative thinking
  • Encourage participation and experimentation in various artistic media
  • Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

Must have-s as an Art Teacher

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Art in a school setting (preferred)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply through GSL Education
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and student-focused approach
