MFL Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

Schools in Sheffield (S35) and GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to deliver engaging lessons in languages such as French, Spanish, or German. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys making learning interactive, cultural, and fun, while supporting students of all abilities.


Role Overview

You will be responsible for planning and teaching high-quality MFL lessons across key stages, encouraging speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Lessons should also explore cultural awareness to broaden students’ understanding of the world.


Key Responsibilities as an MFL Teacher

  • Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons following the curriculum
  • Encourage student participation, communication, and confidence
  • Adapt teaching for learners with different abilities and needs
  • Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Track progress and provide feedback to support learning

Requirements of an MFL Teacher

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching MFL in a UK school (preferred)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to obtain)
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and student-focused approach
