About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering planned lessons, managing classrooms effectively, and supporting students’ learning and behaviour. This role allows you to make a positive impact, maintaining continuity in education during staff absence.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver prepared lessons across a variety of subjects and key stages.
- Support students’ engagement, learning, and progress.
- Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Adapt to the needs of different classes and learning abilities.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student performance and lesson outcomes.
- Follow school policies and procedures to maintain consistency.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students across different subjects and abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and confident in delivering lessons at short notice.
