About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of teaching staff, maintaining a safe and productive environment, and supporting students’ learning. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of the school and ensure students remain engaged during lessons.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes according to lesson plans provided by teaching staff.
- Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, structured learning environment.
- Support students with tasks and learning activities during lessons.
- Provide feedback on student engagement and behaviour to teaching staff.
- Adapt to a variety of classrooms and student groups across different subjects.
- Assist in maintaining records of attendance, behaviour, and lesson delivery.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in schools or supporting learning is preferred.
- Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage behaviour effectively and maintain classroom order.
- Flexible, adaptable, and confident in supervising students across different subjects.
