Behaviour Teaching Assistant
Location: Hornsea
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Start Date: Immediate / January 2026
GSL Education are looking for a resilient Behaviour Teaching Assistant to support pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support within the classroom.
Responsibilities
• Support pupils with behavioural and SEMH needs
• Implement behaviour management strategies
• Promote positive routines and engagement
• Support learning under the direction of the class teacher
• Build strong and trusting relationships with pupils
Requirements
• Experience working with challenging behaviour or SEMH
• Calm, consistent and empathetic approach
• Ability to manage behaviour positively
• Strong communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
