Job Title: Design Technology (DT) Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a talented Design Technology Teacher to teach in Barnsley schools across the S70–S71 districts, delivering engaging lessons in design, innovation, and practical skills.
As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will guide pupils through creative projects, develop their technical skills, and foster confidence in applying design thinking to real-world problems.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons.
- Support pupils in developing practical, analytical, and creative skills.
- Maintain a positive and focused learning environment.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach confidently as a Design Technology Teacher.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
