Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term | Full-time / Part-time

Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher ready to inspire students to explore the world around them?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to work in supportive secondary schools across Sheffield (S2, S3), with immediate start opportunities available.

As a Geography Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, helping students build strong analytical, map-reading, and enquiry-based learning skills.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Support students in understanding physical, human, and environmental geography topics.
• Encourage critical thinking, enquiry, and independent learning.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
• Maintain positive behaviour and a focused learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to departmental planning where required.

Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in Geography.
• Experience teaching Geography in secondary schools is desirable.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
