Job Title: RE Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a committed RE Teacher to work in welcoming secondary schools across Sheffield (S2, S3), with immediate opportunities available.
As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, supporting students to develop moral reasoning, cultural awareness, and thoughtful discussion skills.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Encourage respectful discussion around religious, philosophical, and ethical topics.
• Support students in developing critical thinking and evaluative skills.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to departmental planning when required.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education.
• Experience teaching RE in secondary schools is desirable.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
