Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)

Religious Education gives students the space to explore belief, values, and the big questions that shape how we live. GSL Education are looking for an Religious Education Teacher who can lead thoughtful discussion, encourage respectful debate, and help students understand a wide range of beliefs and worldviews for schools in Sheffield (S35).
This role is ideal for an RE Teacher who enjoys discussion-based learning and creating a classroom culture where curiosity, empathy, and critical thinking are encouraged.
Where You’ll Make an Impact:
- Deliver engaging RE lessons across different key stages
- Guide students through topics such as belief systems, ethics, philosophy, and culture
- Encourage respectful discussion and independent thinking
- Support students in developing empathy and understanding of diverse perspectives
- Maintain a calm, inclusive, and well-structured learning environment
The Skills You’ll Use as an RE Teacher:
- Clear, confident communication
- Strong classroom management and organisation
- Ability to lead thoughtful discussion and reflection
- Adaptability to meet the needs of different learners
- Professionalism and consistency
What We’re Hoping to See:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching RE or related subjects
- Strong subject knowledge and confident lesson delivery
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- Positive, reflective, and student-centred approach
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
