Role: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

Geography helps students make sense of the world — from local communities to global challenges. GSL Education are seeking a Geography Teacher who can encourage curiosity, discussion, and real-world understanding in the classroom for schools in Sheffield (S35).

This role suits a Geography Teacher who enjoys connecting physical and human geography to current issues and helping students think critically about people, places, and environments.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Delivering engaging lessons across physical and human geography
  • Encouraging map skills, enquiry-based learning, and discussion
  • Helping students understand environmental and global issues
  • Creating an inclusive, well-managed learning environment
  • Supporting student progress through clear expectations and feedback

What You’ll Need to Bring:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Geography is desirable
  • Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom delivery
  • Organised, adaptable, and student-focused approach
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
