Salary: £460 – £600 per week

A school in Sheffield is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to deliver engaging physical education sessions and extra-curricular activities, promoting teamwork, well-being, and personal development.

About the Role:
As a Sports Coach, you will lead PE lessons and extra-curricular sports sessions, providing guidance, encouragement, and practical support to students of all abilities. You will foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where students can develop skills, fitness, and enjoyment in physical activity.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and supervise engaging PE lessons and sports activities.
  • Promote participation, teamwork, and personal development in all sessions.
  • Adapt activities to meet the needs and abilities of different students.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in all physical activities.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff and students.
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive environment at all times.
  • Support school events, sports competitions, and extra-curricular programmes.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sports coaching, PE teaching, or related roles.
  • Knowledge of sports, fitness, and physical education principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students across all abilities.
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to student development.
