About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that engage students, develop their numeracy skills, and support progression across the curriculum. You will create a positive and structured learning environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and academic achievement.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons for students of varying abilities.
  • Support students’ learning, progress, and confidence through effective teaching strategies.
  • Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback.
  • Adapt lessons and resources to meet individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and develop resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behaviour.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3/4 is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students in learning.
  • Creative and adaptable approach to lesson planning and teaching.
