About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lessons in line with existing plans, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting students’ learning across various subjects. You will play a key role in maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring continuity of education during staff absence.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver prepared lessons across a range of subjects and key stages.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Support students’ engagement, learning, and progress.
- Follow lesson plans and school procedures to maintain consistency.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson delivery and student outcomes.
- Adapt to the needs of different classes and learning abilities.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students across a range of abilities and subjects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and confident in delivering lessons at short notice.
