About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum, helping students develop knowledge, practical skills, and scientific curiosity. You will monitor progress, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and support students to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons for a range of abilities.
- Support students’ learning and development through differentiated teaching strategies.
- Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with staff to develop resources, lesson plans, and interventions.
- Maintain accurate records of student attainment, attendance, and behaviour.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3/4 is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and engage students in learning.
- Adaptable and creative approach to lesson planning and teaching.
