About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver lessons across multiple subjects or year groups as required, ensuring continuity in learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment. You will adapt quickly to varying teaching contexts and support students’ engagement and progress.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver prepared lessons across different subjects and year groups.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Support students’ learning and engagement in the absence of permanent staff.
- Monitor and assess student participation and progress, providing feedback where required.
- Adapt resources and teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure continuity and quality of teaching.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- Experience across multiple Key Stages is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and engage students in different classroom settings.
- Professional, reliable, and flexible approach to teaching.
