About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support students both academically and personally, assisting teachers in delivering lessons and ensuring students are fully engaged in their learning. You will provide one-to-one or small group support where required, helping students to achieve their full potential. This role offers excellent experience in classroom support and working with young learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering lessons and implementing learning plans.
  • Assist students with individual needs, including one-to-one and small group support.
  • Encourage student participation and engagement in learning activities.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, behaviour, and achievements.
  • Support the development of social and emotional skills alongside academic learning.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children in a school, classroom, or educational support role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, adaptable, and able to support students with diverse needs.
  • Ability to follow structured support plans and collaborate with staff.
  • A positive, professional approach to supporting student development.
