Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £460 – £650 per week

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring learning continues effectively. You will maintain order, support students’ engagement with the curriculum, and assist with the smooth running of lessons. This role offers excellent experience in classroom management and working within a professional school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classes when the regular teacher is absent.
- Maintain discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Follow lesson plans and support students with their work.
- Provide feedback on student behaviour and engagement to teaching staff.
- Support students with additional needs where required.
- Encourage participation and motivate students to stay on task.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a school, classroom, or support role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Organised, reliable, and adaptable to changing classroom needs.
- A positive, professional approach with students and staff.
