Job Title: Sports Coach

Salary: £460 – £600 per week

Are you passionate about inspiring young people through sport and helping them develop physically, socially, and emotionally? An exciting opportunity is available at a local school in Sheffield, seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team as a Sports Coach.

About the Role:
As a Sports Coach, you will deliver high-quality sports sessions, support students in developing skills and confidence, and encourage participation in physical activities. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on students’ health, well-being, and overall development while gaining valuable experience in an educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging sports sessions tailored to the needs and abilities of students.
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive attitudes in all activities.
- Support students in developing physical, social, and emotional skills.
- Encourage participation and maintain student engagement throughout sessions.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to staff and students.
- Ensure all activities are safe and comply with school and safeguarding policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience coaching sports or working with children in an educational or sporting setting.
- Relevant sports coaching qualifications are desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages and abilities.
- Organised, reliable, and adaptable to different settings and activities.
