Job Title: Art Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type - Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are welcoming applications for an Art Teacher to support schools throughout Barnsley, including those in the S70 and S71 postcodes, delivering dynamic lessons that foster creativity, skill, and artistic growth.

As an Art Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that explore a variety of media, guide students in developing their creative skills, and foster an inclusive environment where artistic expression thrives.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured lessons across different art disciplines.
  • Encourage students to experiment with techniques, styles, and materials.
  • Provide feedback to support student development and progress.
  • Maintain a safe, organised, and inspiring classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the creative curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience delivering lessons as an Art Teacher.
  • Strong creative, organisational, and communication skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
