Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Sheffield (S13)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are bringing on board a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join schools situated in Sheffield’s S13 region, delivering vital classroom support and contributing to a positive learning environment.

As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work alongside teaching staff to support learning, assist with classroom activities, and help pupils stay engaged and confident.

Key Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant include:

  • Supporting pupils individually and in small groups.
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion in the classroom.
  • Helping to create a safe and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
