Role: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Salary: £460 – £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term, Part-Time / Full-Time

GSL Education are looking for a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to support schools across Sheffield (S2, S3). This is an excellent opportunity for those who enjoys working with young people and maintaining continuity of learning in the classroom.

What to Expect in This Cover Supervisor (CS) Role:

  • Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with their work and respond to questions where appropriate.
  • Follow school policies and work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral staff.

Requirements for This Cover Supervisor Role:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different school settings.
  • Professional, reliable, and proactive approach.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
