Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are welcoming applications from a skilled Geography Teacher to work across schools in Rotherham, notably within the S65 and S66 localities, delivering engaging lessons that foster curiosity about people, places, and the environment.

As a Geography Teacher, you will create interactive lessons, encourage analytical thinking, and support pupils in developing both geographical knowledge and practical skills.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver well-structured geography lessons that engage learners.
  • Support pupils in developing map-reading, data interpretation, and research skills.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment and promote responsible behaviour.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and experience as a Geography Teacher.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
