Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are delighted to announce a Geography Teacher role within schools in Sheffield, located in the S11 area, where you will deliver dynamic lessons that encourage exploration of landscapes and worldwide issues.
As a Geography Teacher, you will teach physical and human geography, helping pupils understand real-world challenges and processes while fostering enquiry, discussion, and thoughtful understanding through structured lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clear and engaging geography lessons across a range of topics.
- Support pupils in developing map skills, data interpretation, and enquiry skills.
- Encourage discussion around environmental, social, and global themes.
- Maintain a calm, purposeful, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor progress and keep accurate assessment records.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence working as a Geography Teacher.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
