Job Title: PE (Physical Education) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are hiring a PE Teacher to teach within schools in Sheffield’s S11 district, providing structured lessons that build confidence and support healthy living.
As a PE (Physical Education) Teacher, you will promote participation, teamwork, and resilience through diverse physical activities, creating a positive environment where pupils build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy staying active.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-organised physical education lessons suited to different abilities.
- Promote teamwork, fair play, and positive behaviour during activities.
- Support pupils in developing coordination, fitness, and confidence.
- Maintain a safe and well-managed learning environment.
- Monitor progress and encourage personal improvement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working confidently as a PE Teacher.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A clear understanding of safeguarding and health and safety practices.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
