Job Title: Computer Science (CS) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are recruiting a Computer Science (CS) Teacher to work within schools in Sheffield, located in the S11 area, delivering engaging lessons that develop problem‑solving skills and digital understanding.
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will teach programming, algorithms, and digital systems through structured, practical lessons that build logical thinking and spark curiosity about technology.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver clear and well-planned computing lessons suited to different ability levels.
- Support pupils in developing coding, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Provide constructive feedback to help learners improve and progress.
- Maintain a focused, well-managed classroom environment.
- Monitor progress and keep accurate assessment records.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence working as a Computer Science Teacher.
- Effective communication and organisational skills.
- A clear understanding of safeguarding and school expectations.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
