Job Title: RE Teacher
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Salary: Up to £220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Rotherham (S65, S66) from January 2026.
As an RE Teacher, you will inspire students to explore religious, ethical, and philosophical themes, helping them develop respect, critical thinking, and moral awareness.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Teach a range of religious traditions, beliefs, and ethical perspectives.
- Encourage respectful discussion, debate, and independent thinking.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school values and initiatives.
What we need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education.
- Experience teaching RE in UK schools is desirable.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and support students of varying abilities.
- A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
