Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £ 1100 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate/ January 2026
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are hiring an English Teacher, spanning schools of Sheffield, supporting learners in the S11 postcode area and helping them develop strong communication and analytical skills.
As an English Teacher, you will deliver dynamic lessons that inspire confident expression, critical thinking, and a love of literature. You will play a vital role in shaping both academic achievement and personal growth.
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons covering reading, writing, and spoken language.
- Support students in developing comprehension, creativity, and critical thinking skills.
- Assess progress regularly and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Create a classroom atmosphere that promotes participation and respect.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with relevant subject experience as an English Teacher.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to adapt lessons for different abilities.
- Effective classroom management and clear communication skills.
- A professional and reflective approach to teaching and learning.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
