SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Tower Hamlets
Pay Rate: £90 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long-Term, Full-Time
Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:45 PM
GSL Education’s London Branch is currently seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and modern school in Tower Hamlets. If you have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs and are passionate about helping them succeed, this could be the ideal role for you!
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will provide dedicated 1:1 support to students with additional learning needs. Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team, you will help create an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities of SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Deliver 1:1 SEN support tailored to individual student needs.
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and track progress.
- Encourage confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers and staff, following school policies.
- Support emotional well-being and social development.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Previous SEN experience and knowledge.
- Recent school-based experience.
- Ability to provide effective 1:1 support.
- Strong teamwork skills and adherence to school policies.
- Good level of spoken and written English.
