Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £1100 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate/January 2026 start
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are appointing a committed Maths Teacher to support schools across the Doncaster areas of DN2 and DN6. This role is ideal for someone who can explain mathematical ideas clearly and encourage pupils to approach challenges with confidence.
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will deliver structured lessons, guide learners through key topics, and support steady progress while collaborating with school staff to ensure teaching meets students’ needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach mathematics using planned, accessible, and engaging lessons.
- Support pupils with reasoning, calculations, and problem-solving tasks.
- Give clear feedback to help learners improve their understanding.
- Use effective behaviour management to maintain focus in the classroom.
- Contribute to departmental planning and discussions.
- Track pupil progress and keep accurate records.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence in delivering as a Maths Teacher.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to supporting learners of all abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A professional and responsible approach to safeguarding.
