GSL Education Lincolnshire is recruiting a passionate and knowledgeable Language Specialist (predominantly Spanish) to join a supportive Secondary school in Lincoln. This full-time role is ideal for individuals with strong language expertise who are committed to delivering high-quality language education and engaging students across KS3 and KS4.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your teaching career within a well-established MFL department, with consistent support and the chance to make a meaningful impact on pupils’ language learning.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Support students in developing strong speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Contribute to planning, assessment, and general classroom activities within the MFL department.
- Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour, and progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery.
- Follow the school’s safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times.
Requirements:
- Strong subject knowledge in Spanish (additional languages beneficial).
- Previous experience teaching or supporting students in a school environment.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage learners.
- A positive, professional, and adaptable attitude.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
