English Teacher
Location: Pocklington, East Riding of Yorkshire
Start Date: January 2026 Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum
Contract Type: Full-Time, Minimum 1 Term

GSL Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in the East Riding area. This role is ideal for a teacher looking for a full-time position from January 2026.

English Teacher Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.

English Teacher Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English lessons, engaging and inspiring pupils.
• Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback.
• Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
