Job Title: Lecturer – A Level Accountancy and Economics
Location: King’s Lynn
Salary: Paid to Scale
Start Date: December 2025 (potentially)
Contract Type: Part-time, Temporary until June 2026
Hours: Approximately 18 hours per week
(Monday afternoon, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday morning, and all day Thursday – final timetable to be confirmed with shortlisted candidates)

Are you an enthusiastic and knowledgeable lecturer with a passion for A Level teaching? We are currently recruiting a Lecturer in A Level Accountancy and Economics to join a well-regarded Sixth Form provision at the King’s Lynn. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire the next generation of economists, accountants, and finance professionals in a supportive and welcoming environment.

This part-time role is available from December 2025 and is expected to run until June 2026, making it an ideal opportunity for lecturers seeking a stable assignment within a friendly and professional team.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching in A Level Accountancy and A Level Economics
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum standards
  • Support student progress through effective feedback and guidance
  • Contribute to departmental meetings, planning, and quality assurance
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates learners
  • Maintain high professional standards and adhere to college policies

Requirements:

  • A degree in Economics or a relevant Accountancy qualification at Level 4 or above
  • A recognised teaching qualification or strong teaching experience
  • Experience teaching A Level is preferred
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for further education
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
