This is an excellent long-term role within a school known for its strong leadership, positive learning culture, and commitment to staff development. Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, the school welcomes teachers who are enthusiastic, reflective, and dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Inspire and engage students through creative and well-structured teaching

  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing clear feedback

  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Work collaboratively with the Science Department and wider school team

  • Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and enrichment activities


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Strong subject knowledge in Science (any specialism welcome)

  • Experience teaching within a UK secondary school

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude

  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
