Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to kickstart your career in education or mental health? GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic, caring, and resilient graduates to support children and young people with additional needs across specialist and mainstream schools in Lincoln.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in SEN settings, working with pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, communication differences, and complex learning profiles. Perfect for anyone exploring careers in psychology, teaching, youth work, counselling, or therapeutic fields.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs in both 1:1 and group settings

  • Helping promote emotional regulation, communication, and independence

  • Assisting teachers with adapted learning activities and behaviour support

  • Building trusting relationships to boost confidence and engagement

  • Following safeguarding and behaviour plans to ensure a safe, inclusive environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A recent Psychology Graduate (or related field)

  • Passionate about supporting children with SEN and behavioural needs

  • Confident, patient, and able to remain calm under pressure

  • Full-time availability (Monday–Friday)

  • Previous experience with children or vulnerable individuals is desirable

  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
